DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING FAULT CODE 9131

1	Visual inspection	Check B+ connection to generator for fastening and corrosion	Step 2	Clean or fasten the connection ->End
2	Check battery		Step 3	Replace battery ->End
3	Check B+ wire from generator to positive terminal of the battery for open circuit	Loosen B+ wire on generator Measure resistance at B+ wire and positive terminal of the battery	< 5 Step 4	Step 5
4	Check wiring (pin 30 and pin 15) for contact resistance	Switch off ignition Remove plug A from the instrument cluster Switch on ignition Measure voltage between plug A, pin 2 and ground Measure voltage between plug A, pin 18 and ground Measure voltage between plug A, pin 3 and ground Measure voltage as a comparative value at both battery terminals	Battery positive voltage Step 5	Repair wiring harness ->End
