Control module function: Events
NOTE:
The occurrence of particular system errors is stored in the event memory. Furthermore, it is possible to read out the time of the occurrence by means of the F8 key. The time is shown in minutes. The events stored in the event memory concern components of the instrument cluster and also components of other control modules like PSM or DME. The following system errors are stored in the event memory
NOTE:
During diagnosis, the events ABS failure and PSM failure are entered into the event memory via communication with the Porsche System Tester II 9588 and the respective warning lights are activated during the automatic control module search. In this case, no fault is present and the event memory is to be erased after completion of the diagnosis.
