NOTE:
  • The rear glass window can be fitted into the vehicle when the convertible-top covering is installed or removed.
  • The rear glass window should always be installed first into the convertible-top covering when replacing the convertible-top covering.
REAR GLASS OF CABRIOLET COMPONENTS REMOVING PROCEDURE (AS OF MY 2002)

No. Procedure Instructions
  Removing roof lining at the front at rear Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING CABRIOLET ROOF TRIMS - AS OF MODEL YEAR 2002 .
1 Disconnecting the electrical plug connection Disconnect electrical plug connection of the rear window heater -1, 2, 3-  . See Fig 1 .
2 Detaching connection and tension strap Detach the connection to the convertible-top covering -6-4-5-  . See Fig 1 .
3 Removing metal clips Insert a plastic spatula -direction of arrow A-7-direction of arrow B-  . See Fig 1 .
4 Removing rear window Remove the rear window -5-8-  . See Fig 1 .
