Installing roof lining

ROOF LINING INSTALLING PROCEDURE

No. Procedure Instructions
1 Checking roof lining Note: Before installing the roof lining -1-2-3-4-  . See Fig 1 .
2 Fitting frame 1. Insert the roof frame -5-  diagonally from the inside via the sliding roof cut-out of the passenger compartment. At the same time, pull the frame backwards in the centre at the front of the sliding roof cut-out, so that the frame overlap at the corners is reduced and it is possible to insert the frame into the sliding roof cut-out. See Fig 1 .
3 Engaging metal strut 1. Pull the metal brace -6-  contained in the fabric pocket down in the centre so that it bends. See Fig 1 .
Engage the metal strut -7-  in the bracket on the left and right. See Fig 1 .
4 Engaging rear plastic lining 1. Engage the rear plastic lining -2-  towards the rear into the roof frame evenly on the left and right. See Fig 1 .
5 Engaging roof liner at sides 1. Engage the metal strut of the roof liner -8-  into the plastic clips -9-  at the left and right. See Fig 1 .
6 Clipping in plastic lining at front 1. Position the front plastic lining -2-  at the left and right on the cowl panel frame -11-  and clip in. Tighten the fastening screws -10-  . See Fig 1 .
7 Installing brackets and sun visors
  1. Connect the electrical plug connection of the sliding roof rocker switch -12-  and the interior light -13-  . See Fig 1 .
  2. Position bracket -14-  on cowl panel frame and screw down with fastening screws -15-  . See Fig 1 .

    Carefully clip cover lenses -16-  . See Fig 1 .
