FRONT ROOF LINING INSTALLING PROCEDURE (STEPS 1-5) (CABRIOLET, AS OF MY 2002)

No.	Procedure	Instructions
1	Installing roof lining connection at the corner bow	Insert and center the roof lining connection -16-direction of arrow-15- . See Fig 1 .
2	Pulling in bracing strap	Pull bracing strap -X-V- . See Fig 1 .
3	Fitting velcro fastening	Press the velcro fastening -13- . See Fig 1 .
4	Installing bracing straps	Position bracing strap -Y-X-14- . See Fig 1 .
	Closing the Velcro fastening of the side roof lining	Close the velcro fastening on the side roof lining on the left and right. See: REMOVING AND INSTALLING SIDE ROOF LINING .
5	Installing clamping rail connection from the main bow	Unscrew clamping rail connection -10-direction of arrow-9- . See Fig 1 .

6	Installing roof lining connection on front roof frame 2	Position cover strip -8-7- . See Fig 2 .
7	Pushing on the clamping rail at the rear	Push sewn-on clamping rail -6- . See Fig 2 .
8	Pushing on front clamping rail	Push front sewn-on clamping rail -5- . See Fig 2 .
9	Tightening front clamping rail	Tighten the connection on the left and right with the fastening screws -4- . See Fig 2 .
10	Installing convertible-top lock	Plug in electrical plug connection -3-2-1- . See Fig 2 .
	Ending service position
