Removing and installing ignition unit for gas discharge lamp: Removal
- Switch off the light. Release the headlight housing and pull out forwards slightly.
- Disconnect the electrical plug connection of the automatic headlight beam adjustment and remove the headlight housing.
- Release and open the cover with control module. Unscrew the electrical plug connection on the gas discharge lamp (bayonet lock).
- Undo the two fastening screws on the ignition unit and remove the ignition unit. Pull off electrical plug connection.
