Removing gas discharge lamp (Xenon headlights)

  1. Switch off light. Remove main headlight. See REMOVING MAIN HEADLIGHT  .
  2. Unscrew the fastening screws -A-  for the cap of the headlight. See Fig 1 .
  3. Press both releases -B-  and remove the rear cap -1-  (with the control module for the gas discharge lamp). See Fig 1 .

  4. Unscrew electrical plug connection on the gas discharge lamp -arrow-  (bayonet lock).

  5. Turn lamp fastener (bayonet lock) counter-clockwise and remove carefully with the gas discharge lamp.
