Control module replacement: Procedure:

  1. Connect PST2 and switch on the ignition
  2. Select vehicle type Boxster (986)  and start the automatic control module search
  3. Select Instrument cluster  control module
  4. Select menu item Control module replacement 
  5. Read out values with PST2
  6. Remove instrument cluster
  7. Install new instrument cluster
  8. Store values in the new instrument cluster with PST2.
