CAUTION: The bonded joint does not have its final strength immediately.

The vehicle must not be used until the curing time has elapsed.

In order to ensure that the bonded joint is sufficiently strong, the following boundary conditions must be adhered toz

NOTE:

The removed rear window can be reinstalled if there is no prior damage to the rear window and the rear window was removed without damage.
When using the activator allow at least 10 minutes drying time after application!
After inserting the adhesive in the cartridge, observe the open time of 15 minutes! The open time is the time within which the bonding material must be applied and within which the windscreen must be put into the body.
When applying the adhesive, it is essential to ensure that it overlaps!
Two persons are needed to insert and adjust the rear window.

FITTING REAR WINDOW

No.	Procedure	Instruction
1	Fit surrounding section -1-2-	Place surrounding section -1-2-
2	Prepare 2-component bonding material for processing	NOTE: observe open time of 15 minutes! The open time is the time within which the bonding material must be applied and within which the windscreen must be put into the body.
3	Apply adhesive to the rear window	Using the bonding gun -F-X-
4	Insert the rear window into the body	Apply suction cups -E-
5	Align rear window	Align the rear window in the Z and Y-directions.
	Cleaning the fields of vision	Adhesive which has oozed out must be removed immediately and the affected fields of vision must be cleaned using cleaning agent -H1-
	Plug in the rear window heater	Plug in the rear window heater.
	Install rear wall lining
	Install the left and right-hand C-pillar trim	Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM OF A, B AND C-PILLARS
	Install rear window wiper	Put on the spring washer and wiper arm. Screw wiper arm on with the hexagon nut. Close the cap.
	Close the door window
