System I 16: Tools

The following equipment is required for troubleshooting:

1. Porsche System Tester 2

2. Special tool 9617

   NOTE: Use special tool 9617 in combination with special tool 9616.

   Special tool 9617 is required because miniature contacts are used on plug I. So as not to damage the contacts, the special tool must always be used in tests.

   In continuity tests, attach the plug only on the wiring harness.
