Removing the loudspeaker amplifier

Before removing the amplifier, take out the ignition key and switch off the audio system.

Open the luggage-compartment lid and if present, detach the additional amplifier on the clip -1- and detach the additional amplifier (in the direction of travel) to the right.

Press connectors -arrow- together and pull apart. Remove additional amplifier.

Unscrew both fastening screws from the retaining bracket.
Bose amplifier:

Unplug both electrical connectors -arrow- .
Harman amplifier:

Remove the cover for the electrical connector.
Harman amplifier:

Unplug both electrical connectors -arrow-. Refer to Fig 6 .
Unscrew both fastening screws and pull the amplifier from the fastening clips.
