Removing oxygen sensors in front of catalytic converter - USA

Oxygen sensor cylinder bank 1 - 3: 

• -1- Sensor behind catalytic converter: black cable conduit
• -2- Sensor in front of catalytic converter: blue cable conduit

1. Pull off oxygen sensor cable plug in front of catalytic converter (blue cable conduit) and expose oxygen sensor cable -1-  .

2. Undo oxygen sensor -1-  with an open-ended wrench or open ring wrench (wrench size 22) and screw it out by hand.

   Oxygen sensor cylinder bank 4 - 6: 

   • -1- Sensor behind catalytic converter: black cable conduit
   • -2- Sensor in front of catalytic converter: blue cable conduit
3. Pull off oxygen sensor cable plug in front of catalytic converter (blue cable conduit) and expose oxygen sensor cable 1.
4. Undo oxygen sensor using an open-ended wrench (wrench size 22) and screw it out by hand.
