Possible cause of fault

The CAN comfort is connected to the following control units:

PCM2 as of model year 2003

Instrument cluster

Air-conditioning control unit

Radio

NOTE: The plug connections of control modules connected to CAN comfort are disconnected during troubleshooting. This causes additional CAN-related fault codes, for example, 9110 DME control module to be stored in the fault memory of the instrument cluster. These fault codes should be initially ignored and should be deleted on completion of the troubleshooting.
