Read out CDR23 fault memory |
- Connect and start the Porsche System Tester II 9588 and switch on the ignition
- Select vehicle type Boxster (986) and control unit CDR23 and press the ">>" key
- Read out and erase CDR23 fault memory.
- Switch off ignition, remove ignition key, switch on ignition again and read out fault memory

Check CAN comfort (high) for open circuit |
- Switch off ignition
- Pull off plug E on CDR23
- Pull off plug A on the instrument cluster control module
- Pull off plug B on the air-conditioning system control module
- Measure specific resistance between pin 1 of plug E on the CDR23 control module and pin 14 of plug A on the instrument cluster control module

- Measure specific resistance between pin 2 of plug E on the CDR23 control module and pin 15 of plug A on the instrument cluster control module
