DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING - 8001 CD CHANGER

1	Check battery	Examine battery	Step 2	Charge or replace battery -> End
2	Check fuse	Check fuse E6 no CD changer Check fuse D8 to radio	Step 3	Replace fuse -> End
3	Check input voltage at pin 30	Switch off ignition Pull off plug A on the CD changer Switch on ignition Measure voltage on plug A of CD changer between pin 1 and 2	Battery voltage Step 4	Corrosion in the plug connection or contact resistance in the supply lead. Check and repair wiring harness -> End
4	Check ground points	Measure resistance on plug A of the CD changer between pin 2 and ground	< 5 Step 5	Check or repair wiring harness -> End
5	Replace the CD changer		-> End
