Possible cause of fault

Due to a faulty component, the Tiptronic control unit has switched off (limp-home) or Tiptronic control unit is faulty.
Open circuit of CAN-high drive
Open circuit of CAN-low drive
NOTE:
- The CAN drive bus is connected to the following control units:
- DME
- Tiptronic
- PSM and steering angle sensor
- Instrument cluster
