Installing oxygen sensors behind catalytic converter - USA

  1. Position the oxygen sensor by hand and screw in as far as possible.
  2. Tighten oxygen sensor with conventional open ring wrench Hazet 4681-3 and torque wrench.

    Tightening torque 55 (41) +/- 5 (3.5) Nm (ftlb.) 

  3. Route the black oxygen sensor cable and secure it in the sheet metal brackets, wire retainers, or the cable guide.
  4. Connect plug connection and insert in the holder.
  5. Fit right rear wheel. To do this, use the socket wrench insert P 300 to avoid damaging the wheel.

Tightening torque 130 Nm (96 ftlb.)
