Control module replacement: Pcm2

The PCM2 is provided in active production mode in new vehicles and as a spare part. Each time the vehicle is started, the stored PCM2 code is compared with that in the instrument cluster. If no match is found, the device switches off after 30 seconds and the PROTECTED message appears in the display. The device is not operational.

If a match is found, the device is operational.
