On-Board Computer

On vehicles equipped with Tiptronic automatic transmission, an on-board computer is located in speedometer. The on-board computer is operated through operating lever on steering column switch.

The function selected last appears automatically in the display after turning ignition on. The on-board computer displays distance to next fill-up, average fuel consumption, average road speed, mileage counter (odometer), digital speedometer, turbo boost pressure (if equipped) and outside temperature.

Pushing operating lever toward instrument cluster calls up the on-board computer selection mode and displays all function symbols. The function is displayed and the function symbol flashes. If the selection mode is not exited within 2 minutes, the currently displayed function is automatically selected. Moving lever up or down selects the various functions. Pulling lever toward steering wheel selects one function/symbol (all other symbols go out). If control lever is pulled toward steering wheel for more than 3 seconds, all functions are reset to zero.
