Ignition Switch & Steering Lock: Removal

  1. Remove combination switch. Refer to COMBINATION SWITCH  in this article. Drill out shear bolts. Disconnect ignition switch wiring.
  2. Disengage snap ring and slide out switch housing with bearing. Using pointed tool or scribe, push cylinder lock retainer in to release cylinder.
  3. With key inserted, and retainer depressed, pull cylinder from housing. Remove ignition switch set screw. Remove ignition switch back from housing.
