Removal (Lower)

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Remove brake caliper and support out of the way. Remove castle nut from ball joint.
  2. Using Ball Joint Remover (VW 267a), press ball joint from steering knuckle. Remove bolts retaining ball joint to lower control arm. Remove ball joint.
