Power Brake Unit: Installation

NOTE: On 944 models, there are 2 master cylinders and brake boosters (ATE and Girling). These units can be intermixed, however, repair kits cannot.
  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply sealer to power brake unit mounting surface and vacuum line connections.
  2. Adjust pedal height and bleed hydraulic system. Check system for leaks.
