Master Cylinder: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. On 911 models, be sure push rod is correctly installed and that clearance between push rod and piston is .04" (1.0 mm).
  2. On all models, use sealing material on cylinder flange to prevent water leakage into driver's compartment. Bleed hydraulic system.
