Bedding In Brake Pads
Brand new brake pads reach their most favorable friction and wear value after a certain breaking-in time. Only then will brake pad fit correctly on disc. Initially high pedal force will go back to normal value and possible screeching should stop. Extreme braking during this period should be limited only to emergency situations.
