Strut Assembly: Removal
- Working from luggage compartment, remove 3 self-locking nuts from upper strut mounting plate. Raise and support vehicle and remove rear wheel(s).
- While holding rear nut, remove front nut from pivot pin of lower control arm (it may be necessary to double-nut the shaft end with another M14 x 1.5 nut). Remove pivot pin.
- Remove stabilizer bar link from its attachment at lower control arm to gain additional clearance, then remove strut assembly from vehicle.
