Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the right engine mount upper nut.
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  6. Remove the right engine mount lower nut.

  8. Remove the left engine mount lower nut.

  10. Remove the right brake hose bracket bolt.
  11. Remove the right brake line clip at the crossmember.
  12. Position an adjustable jack below the oil pan. Place a block of wood between the oil pan and the jack.
  13. Raise the engine using the adjustable jack until the engine mount can be removed.
  14. Remove the right engine mount.
