Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. Loosen the charge air cooler (CAC) outlet hose clamp (2) at the CAC outlet pipe.
  3. Loosen the CAC outlet hose clamp (1) at the throttle body.
  4. Remove the CAC outlet hose from the CAC outlet pipe and throttle body.

  6. Remove the left engine mount upper nut.
  7. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  9. Remove the left engine mount lower nut.

  11. Remove the right engine mount lower nut.
  12. Position an adjustable jack below the oil pan. Place a block of wood between the oil pan and the jack.
  13. Raise the engine using the adjustable jack until the engine mount can be removed.

  15. Remove the left engine mount.
