Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the flywheel. Refer to Engine Replacement (w/Manual Transmission)  or Engine Replacement (w/Automatic Transmission) .
    2. IMPORTANT: Do not damage the outside diameter of the crankshaft or chamber with any tool.
  2. Pry out the crankshaft rear oil seal using a flat-bladed tool.
