Installation Procedure

  1. With an assistant, position the hood to the hinges.
  2. Align the hood hinges to the alignment marks on the hood.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the bolts that secure the hinge to the hood and tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Install the hood insulator, if equipped. Refer to Hood Insulator Replacement .
  5. Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
  6. Remove the protective covering from the fenders.
  7. Remove the support and close the hood.
