Scan tool output control of the CMP actuator solenoid valve is disabled as soon as DTC P0010 or P0013 is detected. Because the DTCs set immediately when an open or short is present in the solenoid control circuit, the circuit cannot be disconnected and diagnosed using the scan tool.
