Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine coolant.
  2. Remove the engine cover.
  3. Remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with hose.
  4. Remove the throttle body assembly.
  5. Remove the intake manifold.
  6. Remove the bolt and wire harness bracket.
  7. Disconnect the 3 hoses.
  8. Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts, intake manifold stay and intake manifold.

  9. Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
  10. Remove the bolt and bracket.
  11. Using a TORX® socket E6, remove the 2 stud bolts from the intake manifold.
