Installation Procedure

Install the V-ribbed belt

NOTE: Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

IMPORTANT: Confirm that bolt D is not loosened.

Adjust the V-ribbed belt
1. Turn bolt C to adjust the tension of the V-ribbed belt.
2. Tighten bolts A and B.
  Tighten:
  - Tighten bolt A to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).
  - Tighten bolt B to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).
Inspect the V-ribbed belt.
Install the engine under cover RH.
Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .

New belt	637-735 N (143-165 lb)
