Oil Pan Removal (Upper)

  1. Uniformly loosen and remove the 11 bolts.
    2. Fig 2: Illustrating Upper Oil Pan Removal

    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the contact surfaces of the crankcase and cylinder block.
  2. Using a screwdriver, remove the stiffening crankcase by prying between the crankcase and cylinder block.
