Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. Remove the battery tray.

  5. Separate the transmission control cable assembly
  6. Remove the nut (1) and disconnect the control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.
  7. Remove the clip and disconnect the control cable assembly from the control cable bracket.

  9. Disconnect the connector from the park/neutral position switch assembly.
  10. Remove the park/neutral position switch assembly.
  11. Remove the nut (1), washer and control shaft lever.

  13. Pry out the lock plate and remove the manual valve shaft nut (1).

  15. Remove the 2 bolts (1, 2) and pull out the park/neutral position switch assembly.
