Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. Remove the battery tray.
  4. Remove the left hand side engine under cover.
  5. Drain the automatic transaxle fluid.
  6. Remove the transmission valve body assembly. Refer to Control Valve Body Replacement

  7. Remove the bolt and the transmission wire (1) from the transaxle case.

  8. Remove the O-ring (1) from the transmission wire.
