Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Verify DTCs P2237, P2238, P2239, P2252, P2253 are not set.
  2. Engine running at normal operating temperature, observe the scan tool HO2S 1 voltage parameter. The reading should fluctuate between 3.2-3.4 volts.
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
