Installation Procedure

  1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-rings on the No. 1 camshaft position sensor.

  3. Install the No. 1 camshaft position sensor with the bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10N.m (7 lb ft)

  5. Connect the No. 1 camshaft position sensor.

  7. Connect the 3 engine wire harness clamps and duty vacuum switching connector.
  8. Inspect for oil leaks.
  9. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
