Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Locating Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly Bolt

  2. Remove the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
  3. Remove the bolt and the wire harness bracket.

  4. Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
  5. Remove the bolt and the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly and separate the wire harness bracket.

  6. Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
