How to Reset the Engine Oil Life System

  1. Turn the ignition key to the ON/RUN position without starting the engine.
  2. Press the INFO button on the Driver Information Center (DIC) until OIL LIFE REMAINING is displayed.
  3. Press and hold the DIC INFO RESET button until 100 percent is displayed. This resets the oil life indicator.
  4. Turn the key to LOCK/OFF.

If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message comes back on when you start the vehicle, the ENGINE OIL LIFE SYSTEM has not reset. Repeat the procedure.
