Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
1	Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Tip: Use a J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover to aid in the removal of the 2 lower seat back retainers.
2	Inflatable Restraint Front Seat Side Module Assembly Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Side Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
