Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left closeout/insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  2. Remove the left knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement .
  3. Remove the left front carpet retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Floor Carpet Retainer Replacement .

  4. Remove the park brake pedal assembly mounting nuts (1, 2).
  5. Position the park brake pedal assembly away from the mounting studs.

  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the park brake warning lamp switch.
  7. Remove park brake warning lamp switch mounting bolt.
  8. Remove park brake warning lamp switch.
