Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear body mount.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the bolts securing the body mount.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 77 N.m (57 lb ft).

  3. Raise the support assembly and the exhaust.
  4. Install the 2 rear bolts securing the support assembly to the vehicle body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 181 N.m (133 lb ft).

  5. Install the 4 exhaust hangers.
  6. Install the tires and the wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Inspect and adjust the rear toe. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment (FE7) or Rear Toe Adjustment (FE1, FE3) .
