Power Steering Pump Installation

Place the power steering pump in position in the engine valley. Slide the molded wedge into the retaining feature cast into the cylinder block.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

NOTE:

You MUST push the power steering pump toward the rear of the engine as much as possible before tightening the bolt.

Install the power steering pump bolt and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
