WARNING: Refer to Brake Dust Warning . Preliminary Procedure Remove the brake caliper mounting bracket. Refer to Rear Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement (JL9) , Rear Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement (J55) .
1	Rotor Retention Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
2	Brake Rotor Procedure If removing the rotor to service the wheel bearing/hub, use the J-41013 Rotor Resurfacing Kit, to clean the contact area of the rotor to the wheel bearing/hub. If servicing the rotor, use the J-42450-A Wheel Hub Resurfacing Kit, to clean the contact area of the wheel bearing/hub. Burnish the brake pads and rotors. Refer to Brake Pad and Rotor Burnishing . Special Tools J-41013 Rotor Resurfacing Kit J-42450-A Wheel Hub Resurfacing Kit

12 N.m (106 lb in)

Brake Rotor

Procedure

If removing the rotor to service the wheel bearing/hub, use the J-41013 Rotor Resurfacing Kit, to clean the contact area of the rotor to the wheel bearing/hub.
If servicing the rotor, use the J-42450-A Wheel Hub Resurfacing Kit, to clean the contact area of the wheel bearing/hub.
Burnish the brake pads and rotors. Refer to Brake Pad and Rotor Burnishing .
