Installation Procedure

Install the AIR pipe.
Connect the AIR pipe to the check valve.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the AIR pipe nuts (2, 3) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the HO2S clip (5) to the AIR pipe bracket.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

Install and position the AIR hose to the cradle.
Install the retainers attaching the AIR hose to the engine cradle.

Install the AIR hose to the AIR pipe.
Open and slide into position the pinch clamp attaching the AIR hose to the AIR pipe.

Connect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting to the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Install the air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
