Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the primary battery and the auxiliary battery negative cables. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Disconnect the auxiliary battery positive cable from the auxiliary battery.

  3. Remove the lower auxiliary battery tray to frame bolts (3).
  4. Loosen, but DO NOT REMOVE the upper battery tray to frame bolts (1).
  5. Lift the battery and tray assembly (2) from the upper frame bolts (1).

  6. Remove the battery retainer bolt and retainer (3).
  7. Remove the battery (1) from the battery tray (2).
