Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Remove the front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement . Disconnect the ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector.
1	Ambient Air Temperature Sensor TIP: Squeeze the 3 ambient air temperature sensor tabs to release the sensor from the bracket.

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement .
Disconnect the ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector.

TIP: Squeeze the 3 ambient air temperature sensor tabs to release the sensor from the bracket.
