Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear inside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear door belt inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  4. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Remove the door weather-strip. Refer to Rear Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  6. Remove the door window weather-strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  7. Remove the window guide channel. Refer to Door Window Guide Replacement .
  8. Remove the door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  9. Remove the door window regulator and motor. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  10. Remove the door lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement .
  11. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Check Link Replacement .
  12. Remove the outer sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  13. Remove the rear door speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement .

  14. Remove the door check link. Refer to Rear Side Door Check Link Replacement .
  15. Release the door wiring harness grommet and unroute the wiring harness (2) from the door (4), if equipped.
  16. Remove all the retainers from the rear door (4).
  17. Mark the door hinge location.
  18. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
    • The 4 door to hinge bolts (1, 3)
    • The rear door (4)
