Installation Procedure

  1. Position the cable at the grommet (1) to the engine compartment and install it.
  2. Connect the hood latch cable clamps.
  3. Remove the hood primary latch cable release lever. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement .
  4. Remove the hood secondary catch and primary latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement .
  5. Close the hood.
