| CHECK OIL PRESSURE/OIL LEVEL | The low oil pressure/oil level warning occurs when a low engine oil pressure and/or a low engine oil level concern is detected by the ECM. Refer to Oil Pressure Diagnosis and Testing or Engine Oil Level Sensor Diagnosis for the 6.0L or 6.2L engine. |

| OVER SPEED | The overspeed warning displays when the BCM detects that the vehicle speed has exceeded the selected value the driver had preset. The IPC then displays the overspeed warning on the DIC. The general warning chime sounds when active. |
| STABILITY CONTROL ASSISTANCE/STABILITY CONTROL OFF | ABS Description and Operation |
| LOW FUEL | The low fuel message displays when the IPC determines that the fuel level is less than 12 percent. |
| VERY LOW FUEL | The very low fuel message displays when the IPC determines that the fuel level is less than 0 percent. This occurs when the fuel level in the tank is lower than the minimum level the sender can read. The IPC receives a message indicating the fuel level from the ECM and displays the very low fuel message on the DIC. |
| SPORT SHIFT | The sport shift message displays when the BCM detects that the shifter assembly has been moved to enable sport shift mode. The BCM sends this information to the IPC via a serial data message. |
| NORMAL SHIFT | The normal shift message displays when the BCM detects that the shifter assembly has been returned to D. The BCM sends this information to the IPC via a serial data message. |
| SERVICE | The service error message displays when an IPC concern usually relating to a loss of communications is present. |

| SERVICE VEHICLE SOON | The service vehicle soon message displays when a non emissions related concern is detected by the BCM. The IPC displays the service vehicle soon message on the DIC. The general warning chime sounds when the warning is active. |
| SERVICE ENGINE OIL | This message displays when the ECM determines that the engine oil life is below 5 percent. The ECM sends the information to the IPC via a serial data message. After the oil is changed, reset the engine oil monitor. Refer to GM Oil Life System Resetting |

| REST REMINDER | The rest reminder message displays after two hours of continuous driving. When the ignition is switched to the ON position, a timer in the IPC starts counting. After two hours of continuous driving, the IPC displays the rest reminder message on the DIC. |
